Hiking on 340 kilometres of trails

340 kilometres of certified hiking trails criss-cross the Hochkönig region — through flowering alpine meadows, past rushing waterfalls, up to quiet lookout points. Highlights include the Königsweg and the Grüne Neun: long-distance trails on which you hike from stage to stage without your luggage.

Mountaineering and Climbing

The Hochkönig offers routes for every level — from easy via ferratas to demanding high-alpine tours. At the summit cross at 2,941 metres, you are rewarded with a sweeping view across the Alps.

Mountain Biking and E-Biking

Numerous bike tours, flow trails and e-bike routes criss-cross the region — served by an excellent network of e-bike charging stations. With the Hochkönig Card, you can join the weekly guided tours free of charge.
